There is already a dogsled standing, ready to leave at the start of this trip. The dogs are overflowing with energy and all they want is for their driver to release the anchor and let them run. When the food and other heavy equipment has been packed on the sleds, they take off at an amazing speed.

As soon as the dogsleds have disappeared into the woods it is quiet and still. With only the essentials in your rucksack and with good company, peace and quiet is the aim of this trip. Three days on touring skis provide good conditions for success. Other things to helps you on your way are hearty dinners and wonderful breakfast buffets. Drumlin’s own chef has prepared tasty, robust dinners like Drumlin’s goulash of Jämtlandic beef, kabanoss and peppers, and a touch of caraway. Something else to look forward to is the breakfast table, with bread from a wood-fired oven, tasty toppings, yoghurt, muesli, fruit, nuts and Bosse’s mountain porridge.

The days are spent skiing or resting. Go out with a guide, find a sunny hollow or take a trip on your own close to the cabin. Adventure Lite is the perfect trip for people who want to go to the mountains, but think there’s too much planning to do before leaving.
